I have backups I know I can just reinstall Windows but I use this for my work and college studies and it would be a HUGE pain in the butt to do so. It seems like turning on family features has completely taken over my PC, even local accounts that were never part of the family, including admin accounts I create new. I used my girlfriends local account, which was never part of the family, same error. I created a new local admin account, not associated with a microsoft account at all, got the same error. Same error of a pop up saying Windows Family Features, saying I need permission, and a button to ask by email which sends out the same error Iĥ. I removed the child account Windows profile from the PC, I reverted my adult account back to a local log in. When I go to accounts on my Windows PC it says it can't connect, it shows no family members, there are only local accounts.Ĥ. I tried adding child account, repeated all steps, same results, same page, no change to remove adult.ģ. When I go back to the page now I just get this screen asking me to add a family member.Ģ. As soon as I do this, I am never given an option to remove the adult account. went to /family and removed the child account. To try to shut off these features I did the followingġ. Tried turning features on/off using /family page but no luck same issues. We’re working on it – try again in a little bit.ĥ. Turn on safety features-right away there were issues, when I tried to do anything on child account it wanted to ask for permission, but when I hit Ask By Email I got an error that said " Signed into child account accepted invitationĤ. I went to created a family using the adult account. I created an account on my PC that would be the child account, I also created a parent account with my Microsoft account which is a local admin account on the PC as the what would be the adult account.Ģ.
